Toncoin is the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network, commonly known as TON, a blockchain designed for high speed and scalability. The project has roots connected to the team behind the Telegram messaging app, and it has since developed a close integration with Telegram, allowing hundreds of millions of Telegram users easy access to wallets and crypto features directly inside the app.
